Webnight
The Webnight took place from Friday 3 February 2006 at 17.00 until 17.00 on Saturday 4 February at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in the city of Luxembourg. The idea behind the event was to encourage the young people taking part to make as many contacts as possible and to invite other young people to make (and share) photographs of their social and cultural environment.
These photos will be placed in an open database: Family of Man 2007 connecting cultures.
Some free concerts took place alongside the event: Africulture, Jay’s Pub, Inborn, Green Light and the Rocky Bretheners.
The best teams went away with plane tickets, mobile telephones and cinema tickets.
Webnight in figures: 15 teams, totalling 60 young people took part, who made 325 contacts in 15 countries.
